Bikur Cholim

Hospital Bed

Literally, " Bikur Cholim " means "to visit the sick". Temple Israel's Bikur Cholim does this and more. It acts as something of an extended family for members of the congregation who are struck with sudden illness or bereavement. The Bikur Cholim Committee is there to help Temple members when adversity strikes. They will visit the sick and bereaved; do grocery shopping for you if you are suddenly struck down with illness yourself. Anyone wishing to help out fellow members in these and other ways should contact Louise Shanfeld

Temple Israel members can view/edit the Bikur Cholim Sign-Up Sheets to help fellow members who are ill.
(Login required)

We can't help if we are not aware of your need, so please don't hesitate to notify Louise Shanfeld or the Temple Office if you are dealing with a sudden illness or death of a loved one.
Bikur Cholim Announcements
Bikur Cholim Sign-Up Sheets are now on the Members' Lounge page and the Tikkun Olam - Bikur Cholim page. Help fellow Temple Israel members in times of illness or bereavement. Login required to protect personal information.
