Over the years, Temple Israel has presented several different kinds of healing services. We have had a request to post the text of the Healing Service that we held for our dear Rabbi Joel Wittstein (and all others who were ill) on May 24, 2008. This was a non-traditional service put together by Temple members. We prayed for healing and strength and support, not only for those who are ill, but also for their family and friends, for caregivers, for physicians, and for researchers.
