It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the death of Louise Shanfeld. Louise was a founding member of Temple Israel, and its precursor, the London Jewish Family Association.

The funeral will be held at the London Jewish Community Centre (JCC), 536 Huron St. in London, on Friday, December 27 at 12 noon.  The family will be receiving visitors at the JCC, starting at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment at Restmount Temple Israel Cemetery, followed by a meal of consolation at Temple Israel of London, until 4:00 p.m.  Shiva (no minyan) will be observed at the Shanfeld home (613B Wellington St. N) on Saturday night from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Anyone is welcome to visit to comfort the mourners.

Updates will continue to be posted on the Temple website as needed.

May the Shanfeld family be comforted with all the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
